Scranton said the laws address some challenges presented by chemical bans and are “significant in keeping the momentum going on further restricting the use of PFAS in products”. Requiring companies to demonstrate compliance while allowing regulators to conduct testing “is vital”, she told Chemical Watch News & Insight.
