Share Your Story, Drive Change

Everyone deserves a healthy and safe environment at home, work, school, and beyond. Yet toxic chemicals in everyday products silently harm our health, especially in communities of color and low-income areas. Your voice is powerful. By sharing your experience, you can show the human cost of toxic chemicals and help open the door to change.

Examples of experiences we want to know about!

Salon and beauty products:

Are you a salon worker or beauty product user who has experienced health issues like breathing problems and rashes from exposure to hair straighteners and other harmful products?

Adverse reactions to intimate products:

Perhaps you experienced burning, itching, or infections after using wipes, washes, douches, or sprays marketed as “fresh” or “clean.”

Fragrance exposure:

Maybe you developed migraines, rashes, or breathing problems after using scented laundry detergent, body spray, or “air fresheners.”

Period stories:

Maybe you’ve had allergic reactions to pads or tampons, struggled to access safe menstrual products, or faced stigma that made it harder to get the care you needed. Sharing your experience helps break the silence around periods and pushes for safer, more accessible products.

Harmed by cleaning products:

You might have developed asthma, skin irritation, or reproductive health issues after years of cleaning either at home or on the job. Cleaning workers, in particular, face high levels of chemical exposure every day, and the health risks are real.

*The experiences you share will help shape our work—informing the issues we prioritize, the corporations we hold accountable, and the policies we advocate for. Your story will never be shared without your consent, and you always have the option to remain anonymous. We understand these experiences are deeply personal and treat them with care and respect.
