About This Series
We launched this series during Black History Month 2026 to celebrate the beauty, diversity, and cultural significance of Black hair while challenging stigma and outdated narratives. By amplifying these stories, we aim to redefine how Black hair is seen and valued, confront societal pressures rooted in Eurocentric beauty standards, and champion a future where self-expression thrives free from harmful ingredients like formaldehyde.
